Office Statement

Selected Awards

OCD is a New York based design collaborative founded by Tim Bacheller and Matteo Biasiolo. We explore common goals and interests in the realms of space, architecture and art.

We reject styles and trends. We embrace elements, nature, repetition, systems, fun, versatility, spontaneity...

Tim Bacheller received his MArch from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, USA. It goes without saying that he skeptically appreciates Modernism. Tim has worked at award winning offices including Sou Fujimoto Architects in Tokyo, WXY in New York and Sasaki Associates in Boston. Originally from Texas, Tim grew up in the mountains of Utah and has lived in Boston, Chicago, Paris, Tokyo and New York. He feels equally at home stranded in the desert or packed like a sardine in a subway car. Tim wishes that just once he could dunk over Matteo.

Matteo Biasiolo received his MArch from the Politecnico di Milano in Milan, Italy. He is also a registered architect in Italy. Matteo has worked at a number of award winning offices including Sou Fujimoto Architects in Tokyo, ICE in Hong Kong and Onsitestudio in Milan. Matteo has lived in Milan, Madrid, Hong Kong, Tokyo and New York. Coming of age in 1990s Verona, Matteo has an affinity for good wine, good food and anything grunge. He wholeheartedly enjoys dunking over Tim.
